Description:
UPR has seen what a weak point this rear suspension linkage is with the stock suspension. It’s common to
break or bend this component when you are playing hard in the trails or jumping.
The UPR linkage is available in different sizes ranging from a stock to 0.75-inch lift to a 1.5-inch lift. The
0.75-inch lift kit delivers a much truer stock suspension geometry making your front end plant better while
improve cornering traction and reducing lift during hill climbs or uphill riding.
The 1.5-inch lift kit is designed for riders with a 21-inch front wheel to level the front and rear of the vehicle
and provide correct suspension geometry. The 1.5" inch lift also improves the clearance to the pivot point of
the linkage and shock and allows clearance for large air shock bodies.
Installation Instructions:
Sur-ron Segway Rear Suspension Linkage
Just loosen the bolts on the rear shock mount and remove factory suspension linkage.
Clean and prep all surfaces, then remove the steel spacers from the factory rear linkage
suspension linkage and then reinstall them into the UPR 7075 billet suspension linkage
and then install the supplied black delrin spacers to shield the bearing from dust and
ensure maximum bearing life and eliminate any play.
Now you can reinstall all the bolts one at a time starting with the lower shock mount
first and then the middle and lastly the top mounting bole to the progression triangle.
This will be the easiest steps to follow for a simple installation.
(Bearing seals are a very tight fit to install)
These are designed to be snugged down to eliminate play and not torqued as they do
not carry a side load. (We recommend laying your bike on its side on a clean surface.)
