The advantages of this product
Serpentine is not a mineral species but a family of minerals from the group of silicates under the group of phyllosilicates (or lamellar silicate). This family contains more than 20 members or polymorphs and that we find in metamorphic rocks rich in hydroxides of iron, aluminum, manganese, nickel, zinc, calcium and / or magnesium ((Mg, Fe) 3Si2O5 (OH) 4 ). Given their origin of transmutation and because of the many additives present during this phenomenon, its members are often difficult to identify because this mineral also crystallizes in microcrystals. The three most important polymorphs of serpentine are antigorin, chrysotile and lizardite. The rock corresponding to the serpentine family is serpentinite.
