Metallic closed mesh cable support grips are used in permanent installations when there is access to the end of a cable. They're stronger than nonmetallic mesh grips and have stronger grip strength than rod closing or lace closing mesh grips. The end of the cable is inserted in the grip, and the grip is pulled taut with the eye or ring. Once in place, these grips support runs of cable.Note: Always use a Safety Factor in application. Never use grips at tensions up to listed breaking strength. Recommended Safety Factor of 10.
