    Description

11.4"   292mm, light/medium duty, eye to eye shocks
    preload adjustable, (tool not included).
We have installed these on many Harley XG750/500 Street models,
    and
you will have to remove the metal adapters
(included for smaller shock mounts) in each eye.
They pop right out with a screwdriver or punch.
    CHECK OUT THE PIC!!!
NOTE:   - for some reason the manufacturer has discontinued
shipping the shocks with extra bushings.
    SO, on
    most
    bikes, you will
    HAVE TO
pop out the included metal bushing/spacer to fit larger shock mounts.
Run it without the dowel, or use your old one.
    So far, I have
    HAD TO
remove the small shock mount adapter on
    EVERY
bike that have i put these on.
I use a punch to knock out the metal dowel.  maybe some wd-40 if it is really sticking.
Leave the rubber part of the grommet/bushing inside the eye, and then it will easily fit your shock mount.
Super economy version of my bobber shocks - medium /light duty,
    - they are not good for two up riding long distance.
a bit too soft for two big people (over 350lbs total)...
Great if you are a small person, and have a light bike,
like a STREET 750 or 500  or Japanese bike under 750cc.
Lowers your ride on the cheap!!
Easy first step to your bobber conversion!
    PRO TIP:
Measure your shocks from eye center to eye center.
subtract 11.4" inches from that to calculate your drop.
These give a decent ride for the money, but you are losing at least 1.5" of travel if you have 13" shocks,
so the springs are a bit firmer to compensate, that means less suspension compliance, and a firmer ride.
Note: even if you get 0-400 progressive suspension shocks, they are not going to ride as soft as stock shocks.
I find the trade-off acceptable, waaaaay better than solid shorty struts, great price,
Great looks, and especially helpful for the inseam impaired :-) lol
    NOTE:
    -
for some reason the manufacturer has discontinued
shipping the shocks with extra bushings.
SO, you will HAVE TO pop out the metal bushing/spacer
    to fit larger shock mounts
    ,
~ in some cases, you can reuse your old bushing/spacers.
    These are aftermarket, universal shocks,
and are not intended to fit any specific bike.
but compared to 0 and up Progressive shocks, these are a great deal,
and they look like a much more expensive suspension upgrade!
ID of metal dowel/spacer inside of the rubber bushing is 10mm,
for larger shock mounts just push it out- to fit 14mm mount size.
sometimes, i just use the bushings that came on the shocks that i'm replacing.
these are super low cost shocks, you can make them work if you want to.
(keep in mind that the metal dowel inside the grommet does not move, and it is metal on rubber.
if you remove the dowel, you have the shock mount on the rubber grommet, it is still metal on rubber.)
As mentioned in the listing, you could remove the bushings in your old shocks and just reuse them.
You may be used to dealing with high cost shocks which come with a variety of bushings to fit.
These are economy shocks.  Hopefully you saved all the bushings from previous builds and will be able
to make something work.    put some silicone lube on it if it will make you feel better, or teflon wrap
on the bolt, Or buy more expensive shocks with an assortment of bushings.
I know this seems like common sense, but please:
ASK any QUESTIONS FIRST, before purchasing!
    NOTE:
you don't get the bike- you only get the shocks! lol :-)
I know this seems like common sense, but please:
You MUST measure your stock shocks
    and decide whether drastically
changing ride height is going to work for you!
If you make a mistake and want to return them,
you will have to pay the return shipping charges  -
which is not cheap, due to the weight of the shocks!
Really, it is extremely important that you do your research BEFORE buying!
ASK any QUESTIONS FIRST, before purchasing!
    NOTE ON PIC BELOW,
these are the same shocks, but the CHROME version.

UPPER & LOWER bushings / metal spacers
are removable to fit bigger shock mounts.
Just knock it out with a punch or screwdriver.
THE 10MM UPPER & LOWER bushings / metal spacers
are removable to fit bigger shock mounts.
Just knock it out with a punch or screwdriver.
The ID of metal dowel/spacer inside of the rubber bushing is 10mm,
for larger shock mounts just push it out-
    to fit 14-15mm mount size.
Overall eye diameter without grommet is 25mm (almost 1")
with grommet installed, but no metal inner sleeve, grommet id is 15mm
with metal inner sleeve installed the id is 12mm
The actual eye is 25mm and you can remove the rubber bushing
and use the bushing from your stock shock if you have a different size.
    NOTE:
    these are generally for bikes
    under 900cc
    ,
(although i have used them on bigger,
    but lighter weight 1000cc bobbers-GL1000, GS1000 etc.)
and are not really intended for two up riding,
    especially on bigger heavier bikes!
They are not super heavy duty shocks
    ,
but are designed mostly for bobbers,
and stripped down custom bikes like the one shown.
I Do have Heavy Duty eye to eye 11" shorty shocks, see:

So to be fair, there will be a  15% restocking fee.
