Description

Cutrine Plus Algae Control- 1 Gallon.
Apply in increments (do not treat the entire water body at one time).
Water temperature at least 60 degrees or higher will expedite results.
Do not apply at wind speeds greater than 15 mph.
Not for use in ponds with scaleless koi, trout or other scaleless fish.
Cutrine-Plus is a liquid chelated copper algaecide for algae control that is much more effective and safer for scaled fish and higher plants than regular copper sulfate in alkaline waters! Ideal for Decorative, Irrigation and Retention Ponds, plus Fountains and Water Hazards. An EPA-registered algaecide, it keeps pond water clear and algae free.
It controls green water algae, string algae and bottom-growing algae, including Chara and Nitella. It also controls the rooted water plant Hydrilla verticillata.
For best results, apply by pressure sprayer to the water surface with activator.
Combine
Cutrine-Plus
with a minimum 9 parts water, f
ollowing the product's label directions. For a low density growth of green water algae, for example, use 0.6 gallon of Cutrine-Plus per acre-foot of pond. For a high density growth of green water algae, use 1.8 gallons of Cutrine-Plus per acre-foot of pond.
Treat only 1/4 to 1/3 of the pond at one time because dying plants reduce the oxygen in the water, which is dangerous for fish.
Wait at least 14 days between treatments.
