2007 KTM450SXF REAR SHOCK w SPRING KTM 125 200 250 300 400 450 505 530 2007-11 ^

Description

Rear shock from a 2007 KTM 450 SXF. Should fit any 2007 to 2010 KTM 125 and larger SX/SXF motocross bike, 2008 to 1010 KTM 150 and larger XC/XCF and 2008 to 2011 KTM 200 and larger XCW/XCF-W/EXC. May fit others as well but I don't know for sure. Please do your own research or check with your dealer. This came from a motocross bike that was converted to a flat track racer. I believe the shock has been shortened. Measures 400mm (about 15&3/4 inchs) from eye to eye. The shock will need some work. The rebound adjuster is stuck. The nut that holds it in is missing and looks like someone was trying to get it loose (check out the fourth photo). The threads on the preload adjuster threads are galled and the adjuster doesn't want to move. You can see a few rows of theads have already been wiped out on the shock body. (check out the last photo). Otherwise the shock looks to be straight. Just pushing down on the back of the bike prior to removing the shock, it seems to have damping. No signs of leaks. The chrome looks good on the shock shaft. The spring it an Enduro Engineering 7.2 kg straight round spring. Some of the paint has come off the spring and it is a little rusty in those areas (check out the photos). Selling the shock for parts or repair.
