    Description

Please read the listing completely.    I talk alot...
EDIT: 8-12-2024 -  Replaced Cooling fans, cooling fan module , thermo switch and coolant temp sensor.
Driven it around 80 miles and so far so good - no OVER heating.
One owner car ( the guy is 94 years old )  Carfax shows alot of Dealer service history.
    2004 Volkswagen VW Mk4 R32
    Deep Blue Metallic Paint
    Black leather interior.
    300,750 miles.
    Aftermarket wheels / tires.
Has an affordable double din radio w/ bluetooth ( original radio is included )
One of the upper rear control arms has centrifugal control arms.  They are squeaky.  ( i didnt mean just one , both R & L )
The car looks great.   Hatch has rust that has been " treated "  ( see pictures )
The rockers / under the car - the bottom of the fenders - undercarriage.  Looks great , especially for a Mid-west car.
Front bumper is missing the outer front bumper grills.
The rear suspension is squeeky at times. At slow speeds.  I think it those fancy control arms.
The wheels are all dinged up - scratched and maybe even bent.  Tires are acceptable.
    Has 2 keys.
Interior -  The driver seat outer bolster is damaged but the seats and interior are otherwise in great shape.  Just had it detailed.
The Center vents are broken up a bit and i see FOAM behind them..   The a pillar material is loose in spots and the rear headliner is loose in spots.   Probably expected from 20 year old car with 300k.
Passenger door latch gets grumpy at times.  Takes two pulls to open and a little shoulder nudge.
Ac seems to be working now after the fans were replaced. Its not very COLD but think it working a little.
Been daily driving it 3 days.   Took it out on interstate.  There is a HOWLING noise - wind noise of sorts when getting up to 50-60mph.  It there sometimes , other times its not.    Coming from passenger front area.   The lower factory splash gaurds on passenger side is loose and flapping around, not sure if it is that..  or wind catching on something.   Or if it residual noise of engine / transmission.   When putting it in neutral the noise is still there.  It doesnt seem to increase with speed -  pretty sure its NOT a wheel bearing..    it hard to describe.
    History:
I purchased this car a Car Auction out of Texas a few months ago.   It was listed an INOP  ( meaning it does not run / drive )  The listing description said "  coolant leaks out as fast as you put it in "   Come to find out it was a common 3 way plastic coolant pipe on backside of the engine.  The Vw dealership told the original owner the part was " No longer available "  and he traded in the car as he was on a road trip from Ohio and was stranded in Austin Texas.
    Since ownership i have replaced:
    New battery
    New Fuel pump
New cooling fans ( both of them )
    Thermo switch
    Coolant temp sensor
    Fan control module.
I have 100 pictures of the car on our Website.    Including undercarriage pictures.
In person inspections are ENCOURAGED before bidding / purchasing.    Only by APPOINTMENT.
0 Non-refundable deposit due with in 24 hours.  Balance is due with in 72 hours.   R32 must be picked up with in 7 days.
